Assuria Auditor AutoUpdate #85

Introduction

Assuria Auditor AutoUpdate #85 is a content update and minor functionality update.

The update is compatible with, and suitable for application to all Assuria Auditor agents.

Console changes

The following changes are made to the Assuria Auditor Console by this update:

• New option added to sort reports into policy within host order.

• Master policy variables file amended to include extra entries for Novell SUSE Enterprise Linux.

• ‘Supportinfo’ script has been enhanced to report the contents of all license keys.

• Support for Windows Vista agent added. This new Windows VISTA agent will be released in the first week of November 2008.

Other Changes

The following other changes are made by this update:

• For all Windows platforms supported the service-unknown-01 check has been withdrawn.

• Support for AVG version 8 added.

• Windows 2003 64 bit password checking is disabled as in some circumstances may cause the agent to crash.

• Solaris remote service and shell checks have been enhanced to cover additional services.
