Assuria Auditor VITA
Assuria Auditor VITA is the optional web interface to the Assuria Auditor Console for distributed security management. Many organizations require a mix of central and distributed control for their security management. The Assuria Auditor Console provides a single point of control for Assuria
Auditor Agent populations, while wide area access to reports has been a manual operation, often by email or ‘home grown’ solutions. For many organizations the System Administrator is responsible for correcting the security problems identified by Assuria Auditor.
Assuria VITA extends the access to Assuria Auditor Console across the enterprise while ensuring that all users are fully authenticated and any network traffic is encrypted using SSL.
User Roles: Each VITA user can be granted access rights and privileges so that they only view systems for which they are responsible. Administrators who are responsible for correcting security problems on systems can view Assuria Auditor reports and initiate security scans.

Assuria Auditor VITA the web browser option for those users who require distributed operational management access to the Assuria Auditor Console(s).
Assuria Auditor supports regulatory and standards compliance reporting. The Assuria Auditor database includes, where appropriate, the mapping of each Assuria Auditor’s 2500 checks to a reference within the standard. Currently available standards are ISO 27001, ISO 17799, PCI, SOX and CVE and BID. Other standards including HIPPA, FISMA are planned.

Integration: Assuria Auditor VITA web interface complements ISS Site Protector which automates the collection, analysis and reporting of enterprise-wide security information combining data from Assuria Auditor with ISS’ risk assessment platform, intrusion detection systems as well as third party firewall enabling customers to make quick decisions to correct the most sever security conditions.
